Cake server
Jucky
Chocolate-smeared smile, unblinking stare and a cake server she isn't even hiding; she swears on her teddy bears' lives that she can't even reach the birthday cake.
A family of villains. A birthday party. A chocolate cake devoured before anyone blew out a candle.
All guilty. Obviously. All but one. Someone at this table did not touch the cake, and that one is the real monster. Because in a family of monsters, innocence is betrayal.
Vilom is a card game of bluff and deduction where every round reveals a little more, never everything. You accuse, you lie, you betray. The goal: unmask the only one who did nothing, before the family tears you to pieces. Literally.
Up to eight villains, one wrecked cake, nobody confessing. You know who you are. You know nothing about the others. The candles are lit: the countdown starts.
First glancesSomeone starts humming for no reason. Someone else has gone completely silent. Your neighbour has been accusing you for ten minutes and it wasn't even their idea. Nobody lies by choice here.
Chaos sets inLast candle out. Together you count, then you point. And you finally see who has been acting all evening: the most innocent of us all.
Sinister… sombre… shroud! In Vilom, cards don't just act on the game. They act on you.
Slipped face down to another player, they force them for a whole turn to lie, tell the truth, stay silent, hum a song or contradict everyone. Twelve constraints in all, and nobody knows who is putting on an act… or why.
Antics & ChatterDirty tricks steal and sabotage other players' cards. Pirouettes send them back where they came from. Desecrations dig through the discard pile or bring a power back to life. One detail: the Innocent is not allowed to play a Dirty trick. And sooner or later, it shows.
Dirty tricks · Pirouettes · DesecrationsKiwi brings bad luck, Kea pilfers, Dixie protects, and the Guinea Pigs make everyone swap seats. They are the gang's real pets, drafted without being asked, just like the rest of the family.
Kiwi, Kea, Dixie & the Guinea PigsNine members of a family unlike any other. One of them is telling the truth. Find out which.
Cake server
Chocolate-smeared smile, unblinking stare and a cake server she isn't even hiding; she swears on her teddy bears' lives that she can't even reach the birthday cake.
Spoon glove
Hat tipped low, spoons full of chocolate and crumbs all over his jumper, he claims he only committed this sugary carnage in your worst nightmares.
Straw teeth
Sharp teeth stained with icing, he insists it isn't to his taste… and yet this birthday cake hasn't a drop of cream left.
Icy despair
Appeared on the road, left through the kitchen. Her white dress hasn't a single stain. But she vanished at the same time as the cake…
Manipulator
Arms crossed, flat stare. "I don't cry, I don't eat, I don't lie." Three statements. At least one is false.
The Thing is his ally
He invited everyone. He baked the cake. He was also the first to mention an investigation. Strange eagerness.
Poisoner
Frayed stitches and icing-smeared lips, she swears she only measured out the sugar… instead of the nightshade.
Steel fingers
Silicone smile and a smear of whipped cream, she calculates your survival odds to the decimal… before possibly admitting she swallowed the lot.
Sharp claws and fangs
His mood changes with every full moon, like tonight. Golden hairs were found stuck in the icing, at snout height.
It all starts with three teenage friends obsessed with horror films, who spent their evenings dreaming up scenarios together. Only much later did one of them have the idea of turning it into a card game of their own!
Time passed and each of them started a family. Partners, children and pets never asked for any of this, innocent for sure. But when you're a villain, the opinion of the innocent counts for nothing!
Vilom came out of one simple wish: spend game nights all together, enjoy being in the same room, have fun for hours and build, through sweet madness, unforgettable memories for every generation.
